The best image of Montalcino is certainly linked to the most precious gift of its land, hard and generous at the same time: "wine".

It is a family-run business but with a highly experienced winemaker like Pinti Vittorio. In the cellar no types of yeasts are used, the controlled fermentations are very long and are done in steel vats, after the wine is placed in wood, in large 50 Hl Slavonian oak barrels our wines are the result of this that the land in this area can give.

Pian delle Querci is located on the hills adjacent to the Municipality of Montalcino, it cultivates its vineyards on a mixed clay soil, very rich in skeleton at an average height of 250 meters. s.l.m. The Pinti family has been in the world of agriculture for four generations.

Piombaia

The Piombaia farm was born from the union of two families: The Rossi from Montalcino and The Cantini from Pisa.

In the fifth generation of the Rossi-Cantini family, the brothers Vittorio, Francesco and Cecilia manage the family business, choosing since 2008 to apply the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture that have completely revolutionized the way of living and working on the farm: no more the use of synthetic fertilizers, chemical pesticides or large agricultural machines but the rediscovery of the rhythms of nature, the passage of time and the choice to let horses run freely around the vineyard used as natural herbicides.
